Valorant : The New FPS Champ

Riot games the developer of on of the most popular game League of Legends have announced their latest fps based shooter known as Valorant.

Valorant is a tactical 5vs5 shooter which is very close to Counter Strike in terms of mechanics and has abilities like Overwatch.

The game is free to play and was first announced with the codename Project A in October 2019.

The game is still in beta as of writing this blog.

The games is showing a lot of promise by promising everyone 128 tick server which is very crucial for any fps game.

Controversy-

The game has been criticized for its anti-cheat software, Vanguard, as it was revealed to run on a kernel driver, which allows access to the computer system. Many people have shown safety concern regarding the same as Riot is owned by tencent which is very close with the Chinese government.
